It is with great excitement and pride that we announce that Wood & Grieve Engineers have again been awarded the 2013 AON Hewitt, Best Employers Award for Australia and New Zealand.

The AON Hewitt survey was completed by 192 WGE employees amongst a total of over 70,000 employees, from 125 organisations in 12 industries.

Participants were asked to rank over 60 statements from strongly agree to totally disagree. The results consistently highlighted an employee satisfaction rate way above the average, including:

• I strongly agree that I am treated like a valued member of this organisation
  WGE score - 80% vs Average 58%
• I strongly agree this organisation inspires me to do my best work every day
  WGE score - 82% vs Average 57%
• I strongly agree that my manager provides the support I need to succeed
  WGE score 80% vs Average 60%

This award is wonderful acknowledgement that WGE is so much more than a place to work and that it is indeed our culture that sets us apart and enables us to deliver our very best to clients and partners.

In the last 10 years we've grown our company from 120 people to 375 while still managing to maintain our family-like culture. We attribute this to many things such as our unique employee shareholder scheme (55 principals), the hands-on approach of our board and the long-term tenure of staff (average 10 years plus).
