Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) are extremely pleased to announce they have been accredited as an Aon Hewitt Best Employer in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
This award is a wonderful acknowledgement that WGE is so much more than a place to work and that it is indeed their culture that sets them apart and enables them to deliver their very best to clients and partners.
CEO Jose Granado said, “I am truly delighted that Wood & Grieve has been recognised for the second year in a row as being an Aon Hewitt Best Employer. We pride ourselves on our staff being our focus. They must be kept happy, motivated and interested in the type of work they do. We respond to the needs of our people and work with them to develop their talent, but also instil in them the importance of providing exceptional service to our clients.”
The AON Hewitt survey was completed by 192 WGE employees amongst a total of over 70,000 employees, from 125 organisations in 12 industries.
To achieve Aon Hewitt Best Employer accreditation status, Wood & Grieve passed all three stages of the accreditation process. The first stage is an Employee Opinion Survey (EOS). If an organisation reaches an engagement score benchmark of 65% or higher they then complete a People Practices Inventory (PPI). In the final stage, Aon Hewitt validates all the data and information received in an organisational audit.
Aon Hewitt’s employee engagement practice lead Stephen Hickey said, “The Aon Hewitt Best Employers in ANZ study is the largest employee research project and market practice audit in Australia and New Zealand. Accreditation under this program represents a significant accomplishment and demonstrates that Wood & Grieve has consistently achieved excellence in engaging and supporting its workforce. Wood & Grieve Engineers is thriving in the ultra-competitive and reward focused environment of the WA resources sector. Its focus on empowerment, recruiting for fit, and aligned retention and reward practices enable it to remain competitive and differentiate itself to clients and future employees.
