Antonio is the Hydraulics Section Manager in the Sydney office. He has been instrumental in developing the Hydraulic section including training staff, maintaining and developing client relationships and quality systems used within the Hydraulic section.

He began Hydraulic Consulting in 2006 and commenced with Wood & Grieve Engineers in February 2008 in the new Hydraulic & Fire Services section. His technical knowledge of Hydraulic and Fire services combined with industry experience allows Antonio to provide a unique perspective to the design for constructability and the coordination between services.

In July 2014 Antonio was made a Principal in the firm which allows his further input and involvement into the strategic growth and direction of Wood & Grieve Engineers.

What will you bring to a project

With 17 years of experience both in the contracting and engineering side in both hydraulic and fire protection services, I will ensure that all designs are coordinated both practically and economically.

Outside work

Outside of work Antonio loves spending time with wife Lucia and young son Alessandro. He can be seen heading off with a few of the guys for runs at lunch time, before and after work to maintain the balance. Those who know Antonio know that apart from his family that his first love is gardening and his vegetables, he has been known to grow some mega sized tomatoes weighing in nearly 1000g.

Previous projects

  • Glenfield & Kelso RACF - Spanning two sites for the Whiddon Group, these projects involve the construction of a new Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) containing 160 beds, basement carparking and associated facilities at Glenfield, and the construction of a RACF containing 60 beds at the Ilumba Gardens Hostel Facility at Kelso, to include lounge, dining, food preparation and laundry facilities.
  • Westfield Eastgardens -This project involved a major upgrade of the existing Eastgardens facility to try and bring it up to the standard of the nearby Westfield Bondi.
