Hydraulics, Mechanical

Brett commenced his professional career with Wood & Grieve Engineers on 28 January, 1997 and has remained at WGE since.

After quickly proving his abilities, Brett worked through the ranks from graduate engineer in 1997 to be promoted into a junior project engineer role in 2001 and then a Project Engineer role in June 2002. Brett became a Principal in 2003 and in June 2006 promoted to a Director of the firm where he continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of WGE.

In the second half of 2007, Brett took up the challenge of managing the Perth Hydraulic Engineering section. At the start of the 2010/2011 financial year, Brett succeeded in the role of managing the Perth Building Services Group and in late 2013 accepted the position of Perth Office Manager.
Brett has been an integral to the growth of WGE’s Perth office and driving the unique culture that has seen the firm recognised for the fifth year in a row as an Aon ‘Best Employer’.

Brett is a well respected and highly regarded member of the building industry and is an active member of the Property Council of Australia.

Client testimonials

In particular I would like to express appreciation to Brett Davis, who led the Wood & Grieve team. Brett was ably supported by Ralf Boepple. Together Brett and Ralf formed a great team who were across all aspects of the Mechanical and Hydraulic Services and were always readily available to assist in the responses to site queries and the resolution of any site issues arising. The quality of the Mechanical and Hydraulic Services documentation enabled the construction phase to run smoothly for these disciplines.

Jennifer Holt, Australand

Both Brett Davis and Mark Carroll conducted their respective engineering disciplines in a very professional manner and had a clear focus on our needs as a client ensuring a very high level of service. Moreover, the quality of the mechanical and electrical services design and documentation was of the highest standard which clearly added value to our project.

Lance Chu, SC Land

I would like to acknowledge the efforts of Brett Davis who led the mechanical team for the project. Brett offered a high level of professional service throughout the duration of the project.

The quality documentation produced by Wood & Grieve Engineers for the mechanical services ensured that the services were well coordinated and that on-site services issues relating to the mechanical services were kept to a minimum.
