Darren joined Wood & Grieve Engineers in 1997 as a Graduate Civil Engineer. He became a Project Engineer in 2000 and moved to Busselton in late 2002 to become the Busselton Manager for approximately 3 years. In July 2003, Darren became a Principal of Wood & Grieve Engineers and in November 2012 was appointed a Director.

Darren has extensive experience in the detailed engineering design and superintendence of bulk earthworks, roadworks, sewer reticulation, stormwater drainage, Water Corporation headworks infrastructure, retaining walls, water, gas and underground power reticulation for civil engineering, land development and building services projects.
With extensive experience in the land development sector in WA, I provide valuable upfront strategic vision and high level advocacy. I have a professional, enthusiastic, collaborative, friendly and fun attitude towards work that has contributed to a favourable rapport and respect within the industry. My work ethic and sense of ownership of all projects that I am involved in ensures I am driven towards delivering the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.
Darren enjoys family time with his wife Tracey and three children – Blake, Kade & Stella. As stress relief, he thrives for endurance events (finished several marathons and ironmans), still plays soccer, coaches soccer and enjoys fishing.

Delivered the first 500 lots of a master-planned community just north of Busselton. Innovative solutions were developed to dealing with fine residue remnant from mining operations and high groundwater that ultimately reduced construction costs considerably.
