Commencing work with Wood & Grieve Engineers in 2011, Erika was quick to engage with modelling technology, using it to thoroughly flush out potential issues and obstacles at the design phase. She has earned a reputation for her extensive knowledge and expertise. Her ability to engage with external professions on a variety of platforms places her at the forefront of collaborative design.
With high attention to detail and a genuine drive to provide quality service to clients, Erika was promoted to Project Engineer and invited to become an Associate of the firm in 2017. Working in sectors encompassing Aged Care, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Retail and Residential, Erika has particular experience of working with Regional clients and takes enjoyment from contributing to buildings that add value to a community.
For me, engineering is all about the details. I relish the collaborative process between disciplines and professions - bringing together all the potential solutions and integrating the elements in a model. It is through the manipulation of a myriad of factors that a truly robust, efficient solution can be realized for the client.
Erika is looking forward to introducing a new little man into the family fold in April 2016 to complement her two fur children.
