Grant started his career in 1995 with GH Marais Consulting Engineers as an Electrical Engineer moving to BFBA Consulting Engineers in 1997. He was responsible for the design and supervision of a wide variety of projects resulting in his extensive electrical engineering experience and competence. In 1999 he was promoted to Director of BFBA.
In 2009 he immigrated to Australia and commenced employment with Wood & Grieve Engineers as a Project Engineer. Grant has since become a Principal of Wood & Grieve Engineers and an integral part of the Leadership structure at Wood & Grieve Engineers.
I have been in the industry for a number of years and know what attributes are required to produce a successful project outcome for all vested parties. The different stages of a project require different characteristics to come to the fore such as imaginative design solutions, detail analysis, technical proficiency and amenable characteristics all of which and more result in project success. I also pride myself in always being at the completion of a project I start and consistently delivering the goods.
Grant counts himself blessed to have a loving family with the proverbial pigeon pair who understand as a typical man he is sports mad and still partakes in touch rugby leagues. He loves the sea and any opportunity to visit the WA coastline is grasped.
Edith Cowan University – B34
B34 at ECU is the new iconic student services building for the Joondalup campus. The project is a 10,000sqm $70m project comprising intricate and integrated system designs across all electrical, ICT, AV, WIFI and communications disciplines.
I have to say, that the level of attention and support which I have from both Calvin and Grant on this project is really excellent in terms of extent, professionalism and expertise and is very, very much appreciated.
I am under considerable stress with the relentless workload and program problems on the project and the assistance from WGE eases that stress for me.
