With over 12 years in acoustics and vibration, Imran has a wealth of occupational noise and vibration experience gained on architectural, environmental, industrial and building commissions. Providing consulting excellence in the four years he has been with WGE, Imran was recognised as an Associate of the company in 2017 for his services within the commercial, residential, industrial and transport sectors and became a Principal in 2019.
He is passionate about his field of expertise and greatly enjoys demonstrating how acoustics affect every aspect of construction and identifying where the greatest Client outcomes can be attained. Imran invests in his relationships with all project stakeholders and disciplines, employing his combined experience in acoustics and mechanical engineering to optimise design, offer cost savings and achieve objectives. His pragmatic management style enables him to advise clients on the best areas to reap acoustic rewards within budget.
No matter the size of the project, there are acoustic complexities to be resolved and I relish the opportunity to create an environment suitable for purpose that also meets my Client’s commercial constraints. I enjoy that collaborative process with the client, identifying their aims and then adjusting the parameters within the building to realise goals.
Outside work Imran loves spending time with his family. He has lived in Perth since 2012 and enjoys the idea of seeing his two children growing up in WA. He loves to watch cricket and to catch up with his friends on the weekends.
