Jermayne joined WGE in 1994 as a Graduate Civil Engineer and in April 1998 became a Civil Project Engineer. In July 1999 Jermayne became a Principal of the firm. Jermayne’s responsibilities at WGE include high level engineering design, project management, client liaison, services planning, feasibility studies, project reviews, contract administration, obtaining Authority approvals and superintendence of civil engineering projects.
Jermayne is particularly involved in the overall project inception, planning, detailed engineering design and superintendence of bulk earthworks, roadworks, sewer reticulation, stormwater drainage, retaining walls, water, gas and underground power reticulation for civil engineering and land development projects. This includes extensive experience with all facets of subdivisional development in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, having completed over 40 projects in the area. Jermayne has extensive knowledge of the land development process in Western Australia, across a broad range of disciplines, complementing his civil engineering skills and is able to proactively drive projects to a successful outcome for his clients.
Having widespread experience delivering over 300 land development and civil infrastructure projects in over 20 years at WGE, I am able to provide each project team very strategic guidance to efficiently achieve successful project outcomes. This includes the provision of high level advocacy utilising extensive industry knowledge. I also have significant experience delivering numerous projects in the Pilbara region, enabling me to impart this unique knowledge directly to the project team.
Outside work Jermayne enjoys traveling, swimming and spectating at various sporting events.
