In 1998 José immigrated to Australia and started work with WGE as a Senior Electrical Engineer. He was made an Associate of the firm in 1999, a Director in 2000 and became MD in 2012.
He is passionate about supporting local causes in his community and has participated in the ‘Vinnie’s CEO Sleepout Challenge‘ as well as the ’24 hour Wheelchair challenge’. José was followed during the wheelchair challenge by the ABC and featured on ABC 7.30 Report Friday, 5 September 2014.
I am passionate about providing exceptional service to my clients. As the CEO I am constantly searching to find better ways to improve and nurture the culture we have here at WGE as well as manage the young professional talent to ensure they turn out to be the best possible engineers they can be.
José is a keen sportsman and competed at state level in tennis, swimming and long distance running. He still competes in athletics and long distance swimming. Other interests include music and travelling with his family.
Jose has always been held in high regard, has displayed excellent organisational skills and has always been a trustworthy and reliable person in his dealings with Multiplex over the years.

In particular I would like to express appreciation to José Granado who led the electrical and mechanical services project team. In my dealings with Wood & Grieve Engineers and the project team no request was ever too difficult or too demanding, and due to José’s excellent communication skills, the discussion and liaison with an unusually demanding Client were always conducted in a co-operative, professional and pleasant manner.
