Martin is a Structural Engineering Technologist member of Engineers Australia. He has a National Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering, a Diploma in Business Management, and a Higher Certificate in Project Management, and has 22 years of Civil / Structural experience.
Prior to joining Wood & Grieve Engineers, Martin established and led the structural engineering team of the Durban office of PD Naidoo & Associates. He was promoted to Director in 2008, and in August 2010 was promoted to Office Director.
Martin commenced with Wood & Grieve Engineers in August 2012 and in July 2013 was appointed as Section Manager of the Structural Section in the Brisbane office. The Structural section compliments the strong building services offering in the Brisbane office providing a one stop shop for clients including those in the commercial, residential, health and education sectors. Martin is continually building the capacity of the structural section to meet the demands of this growing section.
I bring over 20 years of industry experience to a project. My satisfaction from achieving project success drives me to find solutions for the project. My solutions driven approach focuses my attention on identifying potential challenges and risks and formulating strategies to overcome or mitigate these.
Martin is a committed family man who enjoys a healthy lifestyle where weekends include cycling, gardening and exploring the great outdoors with his wife, Frances and children, Andrew and Rosemary.
