Richard originally joined WGE in 1992. He worked within the civil land development section until 1998 and then ventured out to gain additional experience with other firms. Richard then returned to WGE in 2004 and in 2008 became a Principal of the firm and moved to Busselton to become the office manager. The Busselton office now manages some of the most prestigious developments within the south-west of WA.
I believe I offer enthusiasm and a high level of varied experience to all of my projects.
I engage early with clients and project teams to ensure concept planning and development criteria are best managed to ensure maximum benefit and efficiency later in the development cycle.
My aim is to deliver to my clients a tailored engineering solution that meets their requirements and company objectives.
When not working, Richard enjoys getting outdoors camping and fishing with his family and friends. His greatest satisfaction however comes from spending quality time with his wife and 2 young children.
He hopes that one day his golf will improve to a point where finally understands how it can be called a relaxing day out.

Approximately 1711 lots incorporating residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial developments. This high quality project features prominently as one of the premier developments in the south-west and already is home to 250 families.,Structure Plan review and development of the Provence residential development potentially consisting 2,000 lots. Specific engineering attention included flat topography, high groundwater, soils disturbed by mining operations, acid sulphate soils, sensitive downstream waterways and the potential for mosquito breeding. Provence also overcame many environmental challenges.,Design, documentation and supervision of 600 plus lot subdivision with innovative water re-use features. Site is typically clay and required high level of Engineering expertise to ensure efficient and cost effective earthworks designs were adopted.
