Simon’s career as a Structural Engineer began with Wood & Grieve Engineers in 2009. In the earlier years of his career he was responsible for structural design across a broad range of projects in Perth and regional WA. Through a solid track record of delivering projects he was promoted to the role of Lead Engineer in 2012. Since then Simon had worked on a variety of high profile projects where his role extended to team leading and providing integrated structural advice. Simon also achieved the Institution of Engineers Australia’s Chartered status in 2013 and is currently a Project Engineer of the Perth Structural Team.
I pride on providing proactive, thorough and engaging structural engineering design services across a broad range of projects from high-end residential and retail through to schools and public facilities. I am dedicated and enthusiastic about delivering projects from concept through to commission, which often involves close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and Contractors.
Outside of work Simon treasures his time with Mandy, baby daughter Jaydee and Westie Buzz. His perfect Saturday would involve social soccer, watching the Eagles win and a glass of McLaren Vale shiraz to accompany a few tunes on his piano.
