This project comprised the consolidation of a number of Asciano offices at 15 Blue Street on levels 6, 7, 13 and 15 – 19 in North Sydney.
WGE were involved with documenting building services for the new fitout including access control systems.
Project features:
- New multi-level stair introduced into the old Ordinance 70 building, with limited fire systems
- Plant room space converted to office tenancy space
Project challenges
- The existing building located under the Ordinance 70 building had only minimal upgrades undertaken over the years, which provided a challenge when a three storey stair was introduced into the building
- A fire engineered solution was required including a fire curtain installed at the lowest level of the new stairs
