The project involved the refurbishment of a heritage building within one of Brisbane oldest retail precincts on Queen Street. The design included the front and back of house areas of Apple’s flagship store in Brisbane.
WGE provided mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and acoustic services for the design of the tenancy. The main challenge was to deliver a high tech retail environment with very high performance targets within a heritage building. The cooling and heating for the space was reticulated through the floor system as there were no possibilities for high level services to run within the front of house space.
