999 Hay Street is a $50 million commercial office located on the edge of Perth’s CBD near Parliamentary House. The 12-storey building includes 10 open-plan offices, rooftop boardroom and a proposed café or bar at ground level.
To ensure architectural intent was achieved and both capital and ongoing costs controlled, the developer QUBE Property Group engaged Wood & Grieve Engineers at an early stage to provide consulting on fire services and fire engineering design. Significant costs and space were saved by employing a fire engineered approach to the smoke exhaust system.
