The project is a key strategic development by Stockland with the retail hub expansion quadrupling the Centre’s net lettable area from 7,000m² to 29,500m² to include a range of major retail outlets as well as close to 100 specialty stores, 1400 parking spaces and a restaurant terrace.
A key focus was the development of the open-planned food court located at the front of the centre which will be operational outside of normal shopping hours. In addition to the main shopping centre hub a number of satellite buildings were developed and constructed for food specialties.
WGE were contracted to the project on a tight schedule with the new development was due to be open for trading 12-15 months from the start of construction.
