The project involved the retail fitout of a bank branch in the Melbourne CBD. WGE were the sustainability consultants and Green Star Accredited Professionals for the project, targeting a 6 Star Green Star Interiors v1.1 rating. WGE delivered the 6 Star rating in the Round 1 submission with 80 points, 5 more than required for a 6 Star Green Star Rating.

As the contractor had never worked on a Green Star project, WGE provided consistent and efficient support to the contractor throughout the project
This was the first 6 Star Green Star Interiors Rating pursued by Bank of Melbourne, WGE provided design input for the waste collection layout, indoor plants, and metering and monitoring strategy in order to achieve the Green Star credits.
Services and maintainability reviews had not been completed by the design team prior to this project, WGE developed review templates for use by the fitout services.
