Working with solar energy provider Infinite Energy, WGE completed the electrical engineering design, supply authority applications and negotiations for connection approval to complete WA’s largest rooftop solar PV system.
Broadway Fair Shopping Centre has 948 panels, generating 312kW and is capable of providing around 30% of the centre’s energy needs, generating almost 500,000kWh per year.
With over 6km of cable in the complex design, the system is expected to save the centre around $240,000 per year in power bills, funds which can be redirected to crucial capital works.
