The project involved the construction of 536 luxury apartments overlooking looking the Yarra River within Melbourne’s Harbour Precinct. The project includes two residential towers, (30 and 24 storeys) upon a six-storey podium. The podium includes commercial spaces as wells as common amenities including a gymnasium and pool.

Project features:

The project is a 5 Star Green Star apartment residential building and all bathrooms in the project have been built using modular Lend Lease AMF bathroom pods. The entire project was shop drawn to LOD400.

Project challenges:

• Methane venting of the underfloor areas was an essential part of the inground services design
• The use of modular construction for the bathroom pods including WGE’s colour coded scope delineation drawings for ease of project procurement
• The use of the consultant BIM model for the prefabrication of precast concrete elements
