WGE were engaged by Charter Hall to identify energy efficiency upgrade works to improve the base building NABERS ratings for 30 properties, totalling in excess of 205,000sqm of commercial office space, to achieve 4.5 Star ratings.
The works involved:
- walk through inspections of each of the properties
- review of the current NABERS ratings
- identification of potential energy saving opportunities
- estimation of implementation costs
- greenhouse gas emissions reductions
- NABERS star rating improvement
The project also involved the condition and lifecycle assessment of the plant and equipment with projections provided for condition and lifecycle based on equipment replacements and upgrades over a 10 year forward projection period.
