The Evermore Apartments project will become the first apartment development in WA to achieve certification as a One Planet Living development, where occupants will live a truly sustainable lifestyle, rather than a building with sustainable design and construction.
Providing 24 apartments on the White Gum Valley site, WGE acted as the One Planet Living integrator on this project. The Sustainability team worked closely with the developer and the design team to integrate the One Planet Living principles into the apartment design, including:
Project challenges included working with a relatively new and unknown sustainability tool, which required detailed interaction with the developer, design team and the main contractor to ensure individual responsibilities were fully understood and integrated into the design.
