WGE are acting as peer review and independent commissioning agent on this flag ship 2MW data centre to ensure:

• Reliability to Tier 3 standards is seamless
• Maintainability is straightforward and cost effective
• Efficiency is maximised to ensure minimal energy wastage

The WGE team are fundamentally de-risking the project, holding the original design to the high standards that the client requires to operate in the financial sector.

Specific project features & WGE involvement:

• Two x 2MW Tier 3 data centres
• High efficiency cooling systems have been recommended to achieve very low annualised PUEs, utilising the latest chiller free cooling systems
• Liaising with authorities to ensure the high energy input to the centres can be achieved
• Understanding and ensuring the correct requirements for embedded generation are undertaken
• Attending factoring testing to enable project updates on electrical and mechanical design issues that may arise
• Attending site during construction to identify defects in a timely manner
