This project is a 67-storey mixed-use residential tower comprising 478 apartments and community spaces including recording studios within the state heritage-listed Sydney Water Board site situated at 115 Bathurst Street, Sydney.

Challenges include the structural engineering of what will be Australia’s most slender tower (by ARUP), with a height of approximately 240m and adapting the State heritage-listed building at 339 Pitt Street that adjoins the development.

Design features:

  • Innovative floor-plate layout, which allows all apartments to have access to direct northern sun and expansive views
  • New pedestrian laneways that connect and activate the ground floor adjoining heritage building and link Bathurst Street and Pitt Street to Town Hall station
  • Belt Truss has been utilised above the existing level 27 transferring the top 40 levels on to the existing structure
