Electrical Project Engineer
Jewel Residences is a three-tower luxury beachfront resort development located on the Gold Coast. The glass towers rise to 38, 42 and 45 storeys over a common three-level basement and a further three levels of podium. The towers comprise of 512 residential apartments, a five-star hotel with 169 suites and a high-end retail and dining precinct all spanning across 130m of Surfers Paradise beachfront.
WGE are the electrical consulting engineers engaged by Blue Star Pacific to design the power reticulation, lighting, emergency lighting and lighting controls.
Design challenges:
Space for services has been the greatest issue on this project, however our experience with Revit and NavisWorks has assisted the design process to deliver space saving, cost effective and innovative solutions to ensure the installation works with the other building services.
