12 Parry Street is an apartment development comprising of a four-storey, multi-residential development with two levels of basement carpark and storerooms. The project includes the adaptive re-use of an existing, heritage sub station.
WGE were appointed as structural, hydraulics, fire engineering and sustainability engineers for this project for both design and construction-phase.
Project features:
Masonry construction was adopted throughout the development with the exception of ground-level walls which were constructed as AFS walls acting as deep-beam transfer elements. This eliminated the need for transfer beams throughout and allowed greater carpark headroom to facilitate services reticulation.
