Penshurst Park Sporting Hub is a major redevelopment of an existing public space to be an inclusive, recreational parkland by the Georges River Council. It will foster for a range of active and passive recreational, sporting, community and social activities.

The project consists of designing a multi-purpose, synthetic sports ground for soccer, league and cricket as well as a grandstand, change rooms, amenities, children’s playground, BBQ and picnic shelters and car parking area.

In addition, a youth facility will also provide indoor sporting facilities as well as hosting sporting association offices and a cafe.

Stage 1: Construction of a new indoor cricket facility

Stage 2: New change room facilities and seating for about 200 spectators

Stage 3: Extension to the sports centre to provide new and enlarged facilities, including large sports hall
