Qantas’ First Class Lounges in Melbourne and Sydney set a new benchmark for luxury in airport facilities. From custom blown light fittings and Italian leather Poltrona Frau furniture to full length living garden walls, the end result is spectacular.

WGE provided the mechanical, hydraulics, electrical and fire protection services for both projects from our Melbourne and Sydney offices. Working closely with design architects, Mark Newson Limited (who has contributed to the interior design of Qantas’ new fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft), and documenting architects, Woods Bagot, the WGE team were faced with many unusual and complex problems to solve throughout the design.
