This project comprised of the modification to services across four levels of Sydney Airport T1 terminal. The project consisted of the installation of two new escalators, removal of two existing stairs, removal of one existing escalator, base build works for four new tenancies and relocation of international transfer desk.
The relocation of a significant amount of services from all disciplines was required for the install of the two new escalators. This was achieved in a short amount of time through multiple site visits and incorporation of 3D scanning provided by SACL. The services relocation was fully modelled and coordinated in Revit to ensure the relocation would be achievable.
