This project involved the complete overhaul of the food court and mall at The Galeries Victoria in Sydney’s CBD to improve connection with the rest of the centre and cater for CBD patrons. The food court consists of 10 speciality food outlet, seating for 300 diners and a back of house operations area.

The project included a new feature staircase and refurbishment of the mall passageways to create a unique and inviting urban dining space. Extensive upgrades to services included lighting and kitchen exhausts.

Project challenges include:

• Minimising disruption to patrons and retailers whilst works were carried out
• Working with a number of different tenants to ensure fit out met individual requirements
• Working with architects to achieve an industrial ‘exposed services’ aesthetic
