WGE’s Specialist Lighting team has once again been invited to create an installation for the White Night Melbourne, held on February 20, 2016. White Night Melbourne transforms the city into a dusk-til-dawn celebration of culture and creativity offering a rare opportunity to experience the city in a different light.
Project team members from WGE’s Melbourne office include:
- Dave Anderson, Section Manager – Specialist Lighting/Senior Lighting Designer
- Dave Buchanan, Lighting Designer
- Jason Wang, Mechanical Engineer
- Anne Truong, Lighting Designer
Work is underway with the team spending the weekend in the workshop bringing this year’s concept to life.
Dave Anderson said the team has been working hard over the past month to create an installation to delight crowds of visitors.
“We hope to ignite imaginations of the young and old, and bring something a little different to an event mostly dominated by digital projection,” he said.
