John is the Hydraulics Section Manager in the Melbourne office, leading a team of 12 people. He is actively involved in the construction industry and is currently the Senior Vice-President of the AHSCA and the chair of WACPIC. In his tenure at WGE, John has worked in both the Perth and Melbourne offices establishing himself as a highly service oriented Project Engineer and Project Coordinator. John has a particular focus on the modular and prefabricated construction field and is always focused on opportunities to improve technology and construction methodology in this area.

Prior to commencing at WGE, John completed his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne and spent time working in the Aerospace and Defense manufacturing field, where he gained valuable experience in the concepts of high quality, precision and lean engineering. As a WGE Project Engineer John excels in team and stakeholder management and has a particular passion for finding and connecting his extensive network of contacts, acting as a trusted and valued advisor for his clients.

Outside of work:

John enjoys competing in triathlons and spending time with his family and friends.

My passion is getting the right result for my clients. I do this through excelling in team and stakeholder management and making valuable connections throughout my extensive network of contacts to create benefits for all. I am enthusiastic about achieving the best holistic approach to a problem and adept at understanding clients’ needs. I strongly believe in treating my client’s money as if it were my own and I see this as key to developing long standing and trusting relationships.
