WGE shortlisted for Client Choice Awards

The finalists have been announced for the 2019 Financial Review Client Choice Awards, with Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) picking up two nominations.

The organisation has been shortlisted in the Best Consulting Engineering firm (A$50-$200m) category, which also includes our new family, Stantec.

Electrical Project Engineer and Principal Elliot Alfirevich has also been announced as one of four finalists in the Most Client-Focused Consulting Engineer; an award previously won by Melbourne Office Manager and Director Grant Holman.

It’s not the first accolade for Elliot having been named one of “Australia’s most innovative engineers” by Engineers Australia in 2017, for “turning innovative ideas into reality” at the Perth City Link Busport project.

The prestigious awards recognise excellence in client service across professional services firms, with research and consulting firm beaton conducting independent research to determine the finalists.

beaton have analysed some 250,000 responses since the awards began in 2003 and have more experience in online research of the clients of professional services firms than any other ratings and review consultancy in the world.

WGE have a long history with the Client Choice Awards, most recently taking out a triple win in 2015 and Best Provider to Property in 2016, as well as finalists the last two years.

“At the centre of WGE’s culture is delivering excellent client service and we’re thrilled to be recognised once again with these nominations,” CEO José Granado said.

“I’d like to offer a special congratulations to Elliot and also our new friends at Stantec, for their respective nominations. 2019 is already shaping up as an exciting year for us, and we hope to celebrate again once the winners are announced next month.”

The 2019 Client Choice Award winners will be announced on Wednesday 27 March at a gala dinner event to be held at the Sofitel Melbourne.
