WGE’s Sydney fire engineering team expand with further infrastructure expertise

Wood & Grieve Engineers (WGE) has recognised the client demand for infrastructure consultancy services and expanded their existing capabilities with the hire of Ettienne Jordaan to the NSW fire engineering team.

Ettienne joins an already well-established team, bringing additional experience and knowledge in the fire safety sphere. He has been on the forefront of major tunnel projects in Sydney and Melbourne over the last three years, helping shape the future infrastructure needs. For clients to deliver successful projects they require new and innovative solutions, and to achieve that, fire engineering plays a major role.

Sydney Office Manager Joe Walsh says Ettienne’s experience puts the NSW team in an even stronger positon in the infrastructure market. “Ettienne brings excellent technical skills and experience that complement the existing team and enhance the service we provide to clients,” he said.

Ettienne says he is excited to join the Sydney office and grow the team’s offering in the infrastructure space. “With the rapidly growing building and infrastructure construction industry in Sydney, clients are becoming more aware of the benefit of fire engineering services on these projects. The existing team are working on some amazing project and I am looking forward to being part on them and delivering innovative solutions,” he says.
