Public policy comment - driving positive industry development
WGE is passionate about driving positive change in the future of Australia’s building industry. We seek to champion issues and drive developments through our strong relationships with many of the industry’s leading bodies and associations.
In June 2015, two of WGE’s Sustainability and Acoustics leaders provided public comment to the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) on draft amended development policies for the Central Perth Redevelopment Area:
- Development Policy 1 Green Building: View Public Comment document from Prasanna Suraweera, WGE Sustainability Section Manager
- Development Policy 3 Sound and Vibration Attenuation: View Public Comment from Xavier Sanchez-Roemmele, WGE Acoustics Section Manager
Policies such as those proposed by the MRA play a pivotal leadership role in the direction of the industry and WGE seeks to provide professional comment to ensure the best possible outcomes for all parties involved.
